Gallagher is the fourth lake in the Huron Chain of lakes from the north end. Being on the chain of lakes is a great place to be.  You have the ability when you buy a home on Gallagher Lake to go to and use all the lakes. We guarantee you will not ever be bored.  Even on Gallagher Lake the shoreline contour is very curvy.  There are so many lakes, bays, sand bars, and natural areas that you can explore.  If you really drove all the shoreline it is going to take you hours to see it all.  We do not even know it you drove the shorelines whether you could do it in 8 hours.

Gallagher Lake is big enough for any water sports you want to do. Whether you want to jet ski or tube you can do it on the lake. There are no wake restrictions or wake hours that I know of.  Most people that want to do a lot of water sports drive over to one of the bigger lakes on the chain.  They either go to Strawberry Lake, or Base Line Lake, or Portage Lake.  They are bigger but sometimes crowded.  If you are a fisherman they say the fishing is very good on the chain of lakes.  Currently they have a warning about eating the fish you catch, but the fun is in the catching.  When you live on the chain it is a great way of life. 

Another nice feature of living on the lakes is you can go and get a pizza at Riverside Pizza or you can sit on the deck and have a cold drink and a meal at Zukey Lake Tavern while enjoying the views.
