Gilbert Lake in Oakland County is a 50 acre private non all sports lake.  The deepest spot in the lake is 18 feet deep.  It is an electric motor only lake you won't have noisy jet skis or loud motor boats disturbing your lake peace and quiet.

Gilbert lake homes sit on lake lots that range from 1/2 acre to 2 acres though there are a few homes that have acreage.  We know of one that sits on over 7 acres.  We believe that Gilbert Lake has always been what we call a high demographic lake.  There was a big 1928 home that is 6100 sq feet and a 1930's home that is 5100 sq ft.  So if they were building that big back then we would surmise that the lake always has been a exclusive upper end lake.
