
Otter Lake is connected to the northwest end of Sylvan Lake and connecting with Cass Lake on the southeast via a segment of the Clinton River. There are several marshes on the lake which support abundant wildlife. One marsh that is on the east end of the lake acts as a partial separation from Otter Lake to Sylvan Lake. Otherwise they would look like one big lake.
