Stison Lake is really just a big pond.  Round in shape, half the lake frontage is wetlands.  For Stison Lake real estate there isn't much to chose from.  There only appears to be 7 to 10 houses on the lake.  But there are a few good sized houses on Lake Stison.  One even looks really huge from Ormond Rd.  The children on the lake go to Huron Valley Schools.

Did you know that lake homes hold their values better than most non lake homes?  One of the reasons is that there is a limited amount of lake homes in the metro Detroit area.  There is always a demand whether it is a strong sellers market or a down turn.  Many times in down turns lake home buyers feel they can finally afford a lake home because of the dip in prices.  As a lake realtor we know that there are many lake home buyers out there.  We have prospective lake home buyers that have been looking for sometimes 3 or 4 years before they buy.  It's not unusual for lake home buyers to take two years before they pull the trigger and find there dream lake house.  That house on Stison Lake in White Lake may not be exactly the right one but next year they may find one they love on Lake Sherwood.

Stison Lake is really a big pond that is about 1/3 lilly pads.  It is good for kayaking and it looks like it does have a deep spot for swimming. It is a private lake and not an all sports lake.  One side of the lake borders Ormond Rd.
