Lobdell Lake, the 2nd largest in the Fenton/Linden area. Lobell Lake has many contours. There are many fingers, islands, and bays Lobdell Lake is connected to Bennett Lake by the north-south channel under Bennett Lake Rd. From there you can get to Hoisington Lake from Bennett Lake. A few added benefits of the lake is the bar and market that you can get to by boat. When you go under the bridge from Lobdell lake into Bennet lake, Snappers on the water is on the left-hand side. Having a bar on a lake is great because if you decide that you do not want to cook you just drive the boat up to the restaurant.
Snappers On The Water is a bar/restaurant located on Bennett Lake in Fenton, MI. They offer a full bar with a food menu that offers burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, ribs, and appetizers. They also have an deck outdoors that overlooks a channel that connects both Bennett Lake and Lobdell Lake together. The deck has it's own tiki bar and docks for visitors that come by boat. On certain afternoons during the summer, there is live entertainment on the deck. At night, there is a DJ that either plays to keep the dance floor moving or does karaoke.
Another great place right on the western finger on the north side of the lake is Northshore Market. It is a great place to stop for a snack or if you run out of party supplies for the lake. Whether you need beer, wine, food, or hard alcohol Northshore Market will have it when you pull up by boat. This is a full party store with a deli, fantastic pizza, and hand-dipped ice cream.
At one time, the lake was littered with stumps. Fortunately, the lake association established a program several years ago to remove the stumps, making it a much safer boating environment for lake residents, and boaters that come from the DNR launch alike.
Lobdell Lake has a few shallow areas/spots that boaters hang out at. It's usually a great place to meet new people or old friends. If you do not know it yet....lake living can be a very social life. You will get to know your neighbors better than you ever did in a subdivision.

There are 12 islands on the lake, some have homes on them. Some of them are named, like Bluegill, Turtle, and Stage, and the island with no name.

There are about 700 parcels on the lake. The majority of them have homes on them. Like most of the lakes in South East Michigan it is rare to find a buildable lake lot any more. There are not going to be as many of the huge lake estates that you will find on Lake Fenton, or Silver Lake on Lobdell Lake. On some parts of Lobdell Lake the homes will be closer together.
