Huff Lake Brandon MI information

Huff Lake is just a small private all sports lake that is off M-15.  It You can see the lake as you head north on the right side of the road.  I have never seen a boat on the lake whenever I pass by.  Not even a fishing boat. Huff Lake and Lake Louise are connected by a small canal.  You can go from one lake to another via boat.  Neither lake is too large.  There are only 85 homes on the two lakes.  There is quite a bit of natural shoreline.  You can see the cat tails on the opposite shores in my pictures. 

The area is rural though if you live on the lake you will find a good sized grocery store a few miles north.  There is a liquor store and Bull Frogs bar & grill very  .  

I would say that this lake or Lake Louise really is not big enough for anybody that is going to be a very active water sports person.  Huff Lake is going to be really quiet in terms of boat traffic as it is not big enough.  There may be an occasional tuber but they are more likely to go through the canal to Lake Louise.
