It was named for A.F. Knoblock who owned the surrounding property in the 1940's and 50's. The children that live on the lake go to Huron Valley Schools.  The lake has several good sized bays.

Knoblock Lake  has only a few homes on it. There is a lot of vacant land around the lake. If you want a Highland Lake with privacy and bigger lake frontage then Knoblock Lakefront properties may be a place you want to search.  The lots are approximately 10 - 20 acres.

Knoblock Lake home styles are mainly ranches and colonials.  The square footage of the homes range from 2600 to over 5400 square feet.  The homes on the lake are newer and were built between the years of 1982 -1994.  They are 3+ bedroom, 2+bathrooms lake homes with 2+ car garages, and basements (some of them are walkout).  

So overall Knoblock waterfront homes are newer built since the 1980's and are on large parcels.

There have been no homes sold between January & November 2012 on the lake.

There have been no homes sold on the lake during the years 2008 -2011!

There are quite a few Highland Township lakes under 100 acres.  Some of them are Harvey Lake, Leonard Lake, Taggert Lake, Kellogg Lake, or Upper Pettibone Lake.  If you are looking for a bigger all sports lake along M-59 corridor then you might want to try White Lake, or Oxbow Lake.
