Woodruff Lake Brighton MI is a small round all sports lake perfect for jet skiing, pontoon boats and paddle boats. It's not a big lake only being 43 acres in size so I wouldn't say it's a great lake for skiing, wakeboarding, knee-boarding. It can be done and you can tube on the lake.
One side of the lake is on I-696. The kids that live on the lake go to Brighton School System.
Woodruff Lakefront homes for sale. There are two sets of condos on the lake. One is an older complex as well as a complex that is under construction. There are some lake homes set a little off the lake. Woodruff Lake home styles are mainly colonials that range from 1900 to about 3000 square feet on about 80' lot . The homes were built in the 2000's.
The Woodruff Lake condos like I said are either older or newer. The old condos were built in 1968 and are 2 bedroom, 1 bath, and about 900-950 square ft.
The new Woodruff Lake condos started being built in 2000 up to now.
Only the old condos have sold in the last 3 years (from 10/2011) They ranged in price from $17,000 to $59,000. None of the new ones have sold in the last 3 years.
There have been no homes sold between January & November 2012 on the lake.

Woodruff Lake Fishing
At what age do you have to buy a fishing license and when do you not need a license. You must purchase a fishing license if you are 17 years of age or older and plan on fishing in Michigan's inland lakes. Individuals under the age of 17 may fish without a license. Regardless of age, everyone is required to observe all fishing rules and regulations at all times. All annual fishing licenses are valid from March 1st of a given year through March 31st of the following year.
Fishing license dollars fund a variety of activities including; fish management work on the state's waters, habitat rehabilitation and protection, fish stocking, information distribution, education and outreach efforts to anglers and the public, and much more. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources' Fisheries Division does not receive any general fund tax dollars to support its activities. Instead, Fisheries Division depends heavily on angler dollars collected through fishing license sales and federal excise tax dollars from the sale of fishing tackle (Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act) to manage Michigan's fisheries. Buying a fishing license, even if you do not plan to go fishing, can make a big difference to the future health of Michigan's prized freshwaters.
The money spent on fishing license does help our local lakes. For more information on the difference fishermen make by purchasing licenses, visit www.michigan.gov/itsyournature.

Here is what one of my previous clients had to say about working with me!
"It was so good to meet a nice and honest Realtor. It was like he was part of the family. I was recovering from an illness and we needed to move to a home that was all on one floor. We had already found a renter for our home so we had to put together the deal quickly. Russ took care of it all and made whatever trips to our home that were necessary to get everything done. I had no worries at all. All I had to do was make it to the closing to sign my name. We were out of our old house and into the new in plenty of time so the new renter could move in.
We even lost our closing package during the move and he was nice enough to make a new one and drop it buy. Though I tell him I gained five pounds on the cake that he brought to us. I would recommend him to anybody that needs a Realtor or mortgage person."
