Fish Lake real estate. Homes range from a 1940's 800 square foot ranch to a 2000's built 2000 square foot contemporary home. There is a home that is about 2500 square foot. I don't believe there are any mega mansions on the lake.
Fish Lake properties range from 50' to over 150' lake frontage. There has been one property that is has been listed that has about 8 acres. So you can find some privacy and space on Fish Lake even though it is only a small electric motor lake.
It is unlawful on Fish Lake for an operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the vessel would be minimal.

In the last 3 years the least expensive 1946 built 2294 square foot 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Fish Lake waterfront home sold for $86,400 in February of 2011.
The most expensive Fish lakefront home sold for $146,000 back in August 2010. The home was built in 1930 and rebuilt in 1981 built 1770 square foot 3 bedroom, 3 bath home on a 159 foot lot.
The children that live on the lake attend Holly Schools.

As a lakes area realtor I feel it is very important for you the lake home buyer to know as much about the lake you are buying on. When I first started in this business there was no one website to find out about our local Oakland County and Livingston County lakes. So I put this website together so you and other home buyers can find the information you need about our local lakes. Lakefront home buying is a little tougher than buying a regular home. Not only do you have to find the home you want but you also have to find the right lake, and the right lake bottom too. So it gets a little trickier. So if your realtor is not asking you about what you want to do on the lake, or what type of boat you are thinking of getting then you DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT REALTOR to buy a lake front home. Knowing what you want to do on the lake is important.
You may want to fish, or maybe swim with the grandkids. Or you may want to tube or wakeboard. You do not want to be going around and around in a small circle on a lake. Fish Lake is an only electric motors lake. There are two camps on the lake, one being Russian and the other a YMCA camp. The lake is T shaped with an up north woodsy feel. All roads around the lake are gravel.
The lake is t-shaped. There is one road at the top of the t that most of the private lakefront homes are located on.
