Here are a bunch of pictures and videos of Bogie Lake in White Lake Township.  These are pictures I have taken over the years of the lakes and the real estate on the lake.

What you will like about the lake is that most of the waterfront homes sit level with the lake.  The lake homes really don't have stairs.  So if you have bad knees you will like this lake.  Many of Michigans lakes were carved out by glaciers years ago so the lake sits in a bow and the houses are on the hillside around the lake.  Bogie Lake in Oakland County is not like that at all.  Flat and easy on the knees.

As you can see there are areas of lily pads and some of the lake bottom is sandy.  It just depends on where you live on the lake.

The lake is not a huge lake.  It is only about 50 acres in size.

Bogie Lake in White Lake Twp is a non all sports lake.  No power boats, no jet skis.  Not even a row boat with a small gas motor is allowed.  Just electric motors and hand powered.

So the lake is clean and very peaceful because there are no noisy power boats or jet ski's ripping around.  There are no high speed boats.  Just a peaceful, quiet lake to call home.  Email me at yesmyrealtor@gmail.com for all the local lake homes for sale.

The lake is only about 38 feet deep in the deepest spot.  You can see from one end of the lake to the other and from side to side.   It is on the smaller side of lakes in the township.

Bogie Lake Road runs along the west side of the lake. 

This is not a lake that you will find big mega mansions on it.  Most of the homes on the lake are just regular sized homes.  On the west side of the lake you have a few larger brick colonials.  But for the most part most of the waterfront homes are either converted over lake cottages or homes under 2500 square foot.

It's always a great day to kayak with a friend.

I recently sold one of the few undeveloped lots on the lake.  lt was a perfect setting to build a walkout basement home.

If you are looking for a relaxing waterfront home in Oakland County this might be the lake for you.  It's one of those lakes that isn't too large.  Just perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming.

What better way to spend the evening after a long day at work.  Relax with a cold cocktail at the end of your dock or slip onto your electric motor boat and take a leisurely sunset cruise.  

Fishing is good on the lake.  Bass, pike, crappie, sunfish, and even some perch.

Some of the roads around the lake are dirt/gravel.  However Sugden Lake Rd is almost like driving up north.  So you get an up north feel yet are within 20 minutes of Novi's malls and downtown Milford.  All the modern conveniences are just a short ride away.

White Lake Township is what I would call a semi rural township.  It has big box stores like Home Depot, Hohls, and Bed Bath and Beyond.  But it also has many small mom and pop businesses.  Owning a waterfront home in White Lake is a great way to live.  We urge you to check it out if you can afford it.
