The lake is not reall a boatable lake. It is a lake more suited for canoes and row boats. Crosby Lake is a weedy lake. It is probably best suited for fishing and nature watching.

If you do not know we write these pages to provide you with the best information possible about Wayne, Livingston, and Oakland County Lakes. The reason I started my websites is when we had lake buyers years ago I could not find all the information on any lake all in one spot.we had to jump around and piece all the information together. So we started going out and visiting the lakes when we had free time. We sat and talked to the local lake residents when we had time. We have taken all these pictures. We have over a hundred pictures of some of the lakes. We took pictures of the homes on the lake one year after my wife died. We did not feel like working, but we needed something to do. So we drove around to all the local lakes in the area, gathered information, and took pictures. It kept Russ busy after his wifes death from breast cancer. At the same time we gained so much knowledge about our local lakes.
That winter during our slow time we put this website together. We keep updating it as I get better information. In fact if you know something about a lake send me an email. We will add it to the website. Or if you have a great picture to share we will be glad to post it.
