Indianwood Lake is a no power boat lake.

Indianwood Lakefront homes. The largest home on the lake we believe is about 7200 square feet. It was built in 2008 and sits on 13 acres. Indianwood Lake properties vary in lake frontage. The smallest one is 80' of frontage and most are over 100' of lake frontage. There are quite a few homes that are over over a half acre in size. So Indianwood Lake Orion Twp is an Oakland County Lake that has space between the homes and some with privacy.
There are a few old homes on the lake, but most of homes on the lake were built between 1950 and the present time. Indianwood Lake home styles are mixed. There are:
- 1800 square foot cape cods
- 3000 square foot colonial style homes
- 1970's built 1200 square foot ranches
- 2700 square foot contemporary homes
There aren't any bungalows on the lake that I know of.
In the last three years there have been 7 Indianwood Lake waterfront homes that have changed hands. (as of 10/2011). The least expensive lake home that sold in that time frame was a 1959 built 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2,125 square foot contemporary home that sold for $187,500.
The most expensive Indianwood Lakefront home (during the same period) sold for $430,000. It was a 2000 built, 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath colonial that was 3,642 square feet in size. It was on a 169' lot and also had a finished daylight basement.
