If you are looking for a lakefront home in Walled lake Michigan you are not going to find any homes on large parcels of land. Waterfront homes in Walled Lake are closer together. Many on lots 40-65' wide. Also lake houses on the east side of the lake sit across the road from the lake. What I mean is you have the lake, then a narrow patch of grass, then the road, and then on the other side of the road is the house. It's not a quiet road either. If you have small children and want to buy a lake home in Walled Lake you are going to have to watch them with the road if you buy a home on the lake.
