Alderman Lake

One of the lesser known lakes in Oakland County, Michigan is the 40 acre Alderman Lake. It is located within the Charter Township of Highland. If you’re up for an adventure and a weekend of fishing with your loved ones, expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Sunfish and Yellow Perch. The lake is approximately 28 feet deep at its deepest point.

Milford and Wolverine Lake are some of Alderman Lake’s neighboring cities. The school won’t be an issue since you have at least three options. Spring Mills Elementary School, White Lake Middle School, and Lakeland High School.

Alderman Lake is one of the 317 named lakes out of 387 lakes in Oakland County, Michigan.   This lake is more of a fishing lake and not a sports lake. It is ideal for those who want to lead a laid-back and serene lifestyle.
