Wormer Lake in Waterford MI is fed by the Clinton River and connects to Mohawk Lake, Loon Lake, and Schoolhouse Lake. There is a lake association park on the lake. There is no access to Lake Angelus via boat.
We were told the lake has a mucky bottom or as the state says "a fiberous peat bottom". The children on the lake go to Waterford Schools. There is about 2.2 miles of shoreline (that includes Mohawk Lake).

Wormer Lake Lakefront homes for sale There are three or four log cabins sit on the lake. Most of the homes were built in the 1960-1970's, although there are some newer built homes as well. Some of the homes sit up above the lake with a slope down towards the lake.
On the west and north side of the lake the homes appear to be newer. There are more brick homes and they seem to be a little larger.
There are some big colonials on the area that connects between Mohawk and Wormer lake. I think they really are on Mohawk Lake.
Most of Wormer Lake homes were built between the 1950's -1980's. But there are a few homes that were built in the 1990's and the 2000's.

As we pack up on Sunday night from our lake cottage in White lake we feel great that we do not have to fight traffic from I-75 down back to home. For us we are home in less than 30 minutes.

Wormer Lake Fishing
One of the residents said the bass fishing was excellent. He said if they spent a couple of hours they would catch about 5 - 6 good sized bass. He said he always released them..
Information about the lake from a neighbor that wrote me
1st, Loon Lake which is connected to Schoolhouse, connects to Silver Lake. This is only manageable by small vessels. Also, in a small vessel, from Loon lake you can go under Dixie highway toward the Waterford Historical Log cabin park and to the fish hatchery.
2nd. There is a house on Schoolhouse Lake that was built in the 20's, mine. 2975 West Walton was built by my Great grandfather in 1929. 3001West Walton was built by him in 1926. It was the first home on the lake. We have over 350ft of lake frontage.
