BATTLE SHIP RACE -

CARDBOARD BOAT RACES 2020

This is a new category or new race for 2017 Cardboard boat races in the fight against cancer.  This all about good clean fun.  We want no physical contact.  Here are the rules:

1. NO WATER BALLOONS- We Want to keep White Lake clean
2. Nothing can be thrown except water
3. No sling shots
4. No electrical powered or battery powered squirt guns
5. Water pistols, water guns, squirt guns are allowed
6. Plastic buckets are allowed
7. You cannot hold onto opponents boat
8. You cannot physically damage your opponents boat - only by adding water to their boat.
9. Yes you can throw water into their boat.

The goal of the battle ship race is to drench your opponent, to slow them down, and to put on a show for the crowd.  The key to winning this race is to get far away from your opponent boat.  The farther away you are the harder it will be for them to fill up your boat with water.

These items are allowed.

Also another key to winning is to make the inside of your boat as water proof as the outside of the boat.  So be sure to use liquid nails to do the edges.  Put as many coats of paint on the boat to keep it water proof.

When you fill out the application be sure to put that you want to be in the battleship race. Here are some ideas for battleship boats.

Registration fees - Download your registration form and get started today.

  $40 per boat with 2 paddlers

  $5 for each additional paddler
